About Us
A community built on compassion, dignity, and care
Our Story
The management team at The Plaza brings a combined total of 44 years of assisted living management experience. Longevity in the area of executive level leadership allows The Plaza to provide not only a state of the art building that is gorgeous but resident care that has stood the test of time.
The Plaza on North Main is locally owned and locally managed. We believe no one knows Paris TX like folks that grew up here, still live in Paris and aren't planning to move. Consistency brings comfort and stability. These two traits are vital to making a place feel like home.

Meet Our Team
Our dedicated team brings decades of combined experience and a shared passion for enriching the lives of our residents every day.

Gina Nance
Executive Director
Gina Nance began her career in assisted living 27 years ago in this very building when it was known as Paris Oaks. From the start, she has always believed that she works in the residents' homes, they do not live where she works. Her motto, "Do the right thing regardless," reflects the values she brings to her work and her commitment to residents, families, and staff. Gina was raised in Lamar County, where she also raised her two children, staying deeply connected to the community she calls home.

Cholly Gordon
Assistant Director
With over 21 years of experience in senior living, Cholly Gordon has dedicated her career to creating meaningful, joyful experiences for older adults. She began as an Activity Director in a large independent living community in Fort Worth, Texas, where her love for event planning and resident engagement quickly became her passion. Now serving as Assistant Director at The Plaza on North Main, Cholly is excited to continue making a positive difference in the lives of residents and supporting the staff who care for them.

Sissy Chaney
Assistant Director
Sissy Chaney brings a strong background in business operations and leadership to The Plaza on North Main. She and her husband have run several successful businesses, giving her extensive experience in organization, customer service, and day-to-day operations. Sissy is highly detail-oriented and plays a key role in keeping the community running smoothly. Her business knowledge, reliability, and hands-on approach make her an invaluable part of the Plaza team.

Alyssa Cline, RN
Wellness Director
Alyssa Cline earned her LVN from Kiamichi Technology Center and completed her Associate Degree in Nursing at Northeast Texas Community College. She began her nursing career in a skilled nursing facility before spending the majority of her professional experience in hospice care, where she primarily served the geriatric population. She is a strong advocate for finding joy in each day and considers it a privilege to support residents in living each moment to the fullest.

Winnie Tyson
Chef
Winnie's passion for cooking began at home, inspired by watching her mother and Aunt Kim prepare meals with care, patience, and heart. She transitioned from cooking for her family to serving in an assisted living community, where she found a true sense of purpose in her work. She takes pride in preparing meals that prioritize quality, comfort, and dignity. To her, food is more than nourishment—it is a way to create connection, provide comfort, and enhance daily living.

Margie Peters
Life Enrichment Director
Margie Peters began her passion for serving seniors over six years ago as a private caregiver, where she discovered the deep fulfillment that comes from supporting older adults. In her current role, she finds great joy in learning each resident's story and creating personal connections that enrich their daily lives. Margie considers herself truly blessed to have a career that allows her to serve, uplift, and advocate for seniors every day.

Cecil Ottmo
Maintenance Director
Cecil has been working in Senior Living since 2006. He was drawn to this field after growing up around seniors and developing a deep respect for them. Before entering senior living, Cecil worked in farming, where he learned the value of hard work and problem-solving. He genuinely enjoys being around the residents and often says that helping them is not nearly as hard as hauling hay. Residents appreciate not only his workmanship but also his kindness and willingness to help.
